Departure from Sarajevo
Pickup from the Hotel Europe lobby in central Sarajevo. The drive south follows the Neretva canyon for nearly two hours — one of the most scenic roads in the Balkans.

Arrival in Mostar
A slow walking tour through the old bazaar to Stari Most. Our guide explains the bridge's Ottoman origins, its destruction in 1993, and the painstaking reconstruction that followed.

Lunch beside the Neretva
Family-run restaurant tucked behind the bazaar. Traditional Bosnian fare — ćevapi, dolmas, warm bread from a stone oven — at a table with a view of the river.

Blagaj
Short drive to the dervish lodge at Blagaj, where the Buna river pours out of a cliff. We take tea on the terrace above the water and stay until the light softens.

Return to Sarajevo
Back through the canyon. Arrive at the Hotel Europe by 19:00.
